Dear Readers,
I didn't even realize it. My blog is a year old. How did that happen? My
first post went live on April 28, 2014 as a result of the much-lauded
Me-Made-May that is hosted by
Zoe. While this post is not written for the purpose of waxing eloquent over the things I have learned, I did want to mention the happy fact that I have managed to stick with my blog for a year. Unlike the countless journals/diaries that I have begun only to toss them to the side within a few weeks (at the most!), I have remained faithful (albeit sporadically) to this bit of online presence. I can say with all honesty that my experience has been entirely enjoyable!
Moving on!
I decided that this year I was going to participate in
Rochelle's Spring for Cotton sew-a-long. I had many glamourous plans. They did not work out. Instead of being able to introduce a self-drafted dress with the intent of impressing all and sundry; I am quite willing to allow the credit and "glory" go to the very experienced and hardworking independent pattern company:
Colette Patterns.
